OUR TEAM

  • Jeff Marcoe - Lead Pastor

Pastor Jeff became the Lead Pastor of FNC in October 2015. Prior to that, he served at the New Braunfels Church of the Nazarene in New Braunfels, Texas, as Youth Pastor from 2000-2012 and Senior Pastor from 2007-2015.  Jeff received his Master’s Degree in Counseling from Asbury Seminary in 1999 and his Bachelor’s degree in Social Science from the University of Southern Colorado in 1995. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and had a small private practice in New Braunfels.

He and his wife Amy were married in 1992 and have two children; their daughter Ashley and their son Alex. Ashley, a proud A&M grad, is pursuing her master's degree in Social Work at West Texas A&M and is married to Aaron (who serves on staff at FNC). Alex attends college at Southern Nazarene University.  Jeff enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and watching most sports – especially anything to do with the University of Kentucky basketball program. And yes, he believes The Empire Strikes Back is the best Star Wars movie ever made.

  • Rebecca Aleman - Associate Youth Pastor

Pastor Rebecca and her husband, Charles, moved to Amarillo after getting married in 2018, and they soon began attending FNC. Shortly after joining the church, they began serving the youth group and attending the college & youth adult group. The Alemans love spending their Sundays and Wednesdays with the youth. They have two puppies that keep them busy when they're not at church. They love grilling out, spending time with friends and family, and working out at the gym. Rebecca has held her district license for two years and Charles is an electrical engineer in Amarillo. She loves being a part of Amarillo FNC and cannot imagine a better church family!

Josh loves to golf, drink sweet mint tea, and cheer on his Philadelphia Eagles!

  • Leah Fort - Associate Pastor

Leah and her husband, Mike, have performed together many years in the worship ministry at FNC. She is an accomplished speaker and published author, specializing in personal success coaching and helping overwhelmed people connect to life in new ways. Her degree in Christian Studies/Biblical Counseling lends itself to this ministry passion. The Forts have a favorite spot for resting and writing the mountains of Colorado. Her favorite pastimes include dates in Mike's classic cars and all times with their family. The Forts have 2 children: daughter Sydney is married to Chase Clark, and son, Lane, is married to Neeley. They have six fabulous grandchildren.

  • Aaron Heatherly - Worship Leader

Aaron has come aboard our team as our worship leader. He is married to Ashley, and they have a German Shepherd/Lab mix named Albus. Aaron served as a worship leader and production director for several churches and helped plant another church in the San Antonio area before moving to Amarillo with his wife. He has an unrivaled passion for craft coffee and a love for music and production, especially in the church. In his free time, he’s likely perfecting his "pour-over" technique, listening to the most recent worship record, or playing board games with his wife.
